The Current
The Current is a fictional restaurant that is characterized as a vintage surfer joint located on a dock. This was a project completed in my branding class. The goal was to bring a brand to life, to challenge yourself to think of every aspect that goes into the brand and how it affects your audience. The logo was made to be dynamic and the slightly muted color palette was carefully chosen to give off a sun-bleached feeling.
The second part of this project was to create two physical elements of the brand, I chose to create a menu and a sticker pack, two things that make the restaurant fun and functional.
Cinnaholic Rebrand
For this school branding project, I was tasked with fixing a logo I did not think fit its brand. Instead of a refresh I thought going with a brand new logo entirely would better represent the brand and make more sense for advertising and marketing the shop. The logo was made to represent the cinnamon buns classic swirl while also tying in the vegan attributes the company takes pride in.
Olympic Bid Logo
This project was an opportunity to create something brand new. The goal was to create an Olympic bid logo for a city that has never hosted the Olympics before. I was assigned Bern, Switzerland for the 2038 Winter Olympics. After a multitude of sketching and research I based the logo off of a bear due to the culture surrounding Bern and Switzerland as a whole. The icy blues in the palette push the feeling and visual imagery of winter itself. While saying away from usual red and white palette used to represent Switzerland.
